I wanted to include these in our daily walk with God because these are prayers Paul never stopped praying during his ministry. I believe these are powerful prayers. I was recently challenged to say them every day for a year. The outcome would be far beyond what I could ever hope. Well, I have said them a few weeks, maybe not every day, and BIG things are happening. It is the Word of God coming alive in our life. Please read these and think about incorporating these in your everyday walk.
1. Ephesians 1:16-23
2. Ephesians 3:16-21
3. Colossians 1:9-14
4. Philippians 1:6
5. Philippians 1:9-11
I just realized that there are five...Lets try saying one a day and meditating on that one.
Once you pray it for yourself, think of all the people you can pray this for, your family, our Nation, our friends, the people that have hurt you the most, our President, etc...
Please comment on what you think after you read them.

I am all about doing this prayer thing. As for the wisdom and proverbs 8 and 9. I feel like I have felt like I try to look into God so much and while I am doing that I take away from the Joy of just being with him. I heard this week that "God is the constant in this relationship, not me. I will never be the stable one. " That statement was so true. He loves me always..thank goodness because sometimes my emotions and wants get in the way. "Listen to my counsel and do not ignore it." Whoa what a simple and powerful statement. He wants what is best for us and somethimes...almost all the time I get in the way. "Leave your foolish ways and begin to live: learn how to be wise." To me that was my favorite verse. Living is being with God, living is turning from what we think we should do and doing what he wants us to do, I also found it powerful that we learn to be wise. It does not just come to us. I want to learn to be wise. I want to learn to never turn off that inner voice of God. I want to want what God wants for me and not fight it with insecurities or unbelief. God grant me wisdom in all I SAY and DO.
Maggie, that is awesome learning. I like at the end how you said you want the things of the Lord...there is something precious about that. We know we "need" it, but do we "want or desire" it? It should be a passion not an obligation. Awesome!
Feel free to add a post if you read something and think all of us would benefit from a study.
I love this verse and say it every day...Phil 1:6 Being confident in this one very thing, that he which began a good work in me will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
It isn't just a verse and when your mind tries to tel you that, cast it down...I say it in faith, regardless of how my day went or how I acted...I say it, knowing God is completing something through and in me!
